All fibre optic solutions under one roof

Building a fibre optic network is complicated enough

Navigating the complexities of the fibre optic landscape in South Africa shouldn’t be made even more complicated by unreliable contractors. We understand that substandard fibre installations could jeopardise your entire project, resulting in lost time and the additional costs of rebuilding failed network constructions.

Unskilled fibre construction contractors leaving your network in chaos

Increasingly poor quality workmanship lowers the standards of fibre installation and civil builds

Reputational damage compromising future network tenders

Budget and resource constraints that limit your choices of subcontractors

Poor health and safety practices place your project at constant risk

End-to-end fibre optic solutions

We help Fibre Network Operators become leading providers of robust, reliable connectivity through outstanding fibre construction and competitive, fast service. Using the latest in machinery and equipment, we specialise in designing, installing and servicing Fibre-to-the-Business (FTTB) and Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH), with minimal disruption to the general public.

Design & Engineering

Start each project on the right foot, with meticulous planning and preparation. As an end-to-end fibre construction company, Impisi is there for you from the very beginning of every build.

  • Identifying ideal candidate areas for fibre optic installation.
  • Processing of smooth, legitimate wayleave permit applications.
  • Planning of cable location, pilot hole site, duct installations and manholes.
  • Identifying local installation teams, where fibre is being laid in outlying areas.
  • Training and upskilling local installation teams, where none exist.

Fibre Construction & Installation

Impisi’s project-managed fibre construction is a seamless process, from the moment we break ground to the final connection at households, businesses and schools. Impisi Fibre is a reliable provider of the following:

  • Civil works, including compaction and DCP testing, reinstatement of paving, concrete, vegetation, grass and tar.
  • Fibre construction at greenfield sites and site establishment. Impisi handles earth wire installations, new plinths, container installations, high-voltage cable installations, and distribution boxes.
  • Turnkey optical fibre installation, using cutting-edge technologies and eco-conscious practices to run National Long Route installations, moling, and splicing.
  • Professional FTTH and FTTB installations, where our unparalleled service excellence earns your company a reputation for superior service delivery.
  • Full-service project management of fibre optic construction and installation projects. We even offer exclusive project management to oversee your internal teams, helping to ensure that the highest network standards are maintained.

Maintenance & Testing

As a privately-run fibre construction company, Impisi is renowned for its fast turnaround on repairs and maintenance, helping you to provide a premium service that keeps your customers connected.

  • Swift repair of damaged fibre infrastructure caused by accidents, wear-and-tear and vandalism or theft.
