Despite the gloomy weather on 11 February 2024, Impisi Fibre partnered with the community members of Luipaardsvlei cleaning up the area by cutting grass and picking up litter ensuring the community park looks presentable and conducive for all the children of Luipaardsvlei.
The initiative was attended not only by the community members, but also Former Mayor Tyrone Gray. We also received donation from Saverite Supermarket and Vleispot where they assisted with catering. Additionally, a local bottle store gave away R2000 for trees so the trees can be planted and lastly, Fruit & Vege helped with bottled water.
We are truly humbled that everyone was on board with this initiative. A special thank you to all those community members that offered to be the voice to the voiceless and for being great pioneers to the community. We would like to extend our gratitude to our staff members that were present on the day.
Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much.
